Hi! My name is Haleigh DeRocher and I live in the mountains with my husband, Grant the math teacher.
I love watering flowers and baking pretty desserts and petting deer and organizing books and making paper snowflakes. I believe that homemade food is better than any other kind and art is possible without making a craft supply run to Hobby Lobby (though I really really love that store).
A lot of times it’s hard for me to think about other things.
This blog is a conglomeration of the things I love, hinging on the philosophy of “waste not, want not.” Scraps are my friend and sometimes I go about the long way of accomplishing a task instead of making a trip to the store.
